Pet-Friendly Room Policy

  • Not ALL rooms are pet friendly. Pets are ONLY allowed in designated pet-friendly rooms and up to two pets/room
  • The pet fee is $25/night for each pet. (NOTE: The pet fee will be collected upon check-in at the desk).
  • Pets must be leashed all the time while walking outside on the motel property.
  • Pets must not be left unattended in the room.
  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets on motel property and on the beach. Also, are responsible for any damage and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet.
  • A credit card will be required from the guest regardless of how the guest chooses to pay for the stay.
  • The Mariner Inn & Suites complies with the county “leash law” regarding pets on the beach in Kill Devil Hills. For more details please visit www.outerbanks.org/plan-your-trip/beaches/pets-on-the-beach/
  • Please, no barkers. If barking becomes a disturbance to other guests, other arrangements will need to be made at Guest’s expense.

Hotel Policies

  • Guests must be 21 years or older to make a reservation.
  • All rates are subject to change without notice. For current rates please call the hotel directly or visit “Book now” Button.
  • Discounts are available for Active Military, Senior Citizens, and Veterans.
  • All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted outside only.
  • Check-in time is 4 pm. Checkout time is 11 am.
  • Guest laundry, vending and ice machines are available for all guests.
  • Hotel rooms, property and amenities are for paying and registered guests only. Non-registered visitors are not permitted on the premises.
  • Any discount offers are subject to change or withdrawal with no due notice required. All promotional offers are subject to change based on the management's sole discretion.

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

  • A valid credit/debit card is required to make a reservation.
  • Free cancellation period is up to 72 hr. prior to check-in time.
  • The credit/debit card provided will automatically be charged, the full amount of the stay, after the free cancellation period ends. For any reason the credit card declines, the reservation will automatically be cancelled, and the room will be released.
  • Reservations made within three days of arrival will be charged in full and are non-refundable.
  • Guests arriving late must call the hotel prior to 7:00 PM on the arrival day to guarantee the reservation.
  • Reservations with an advance deposit can be cancelled with a $50.00 cancellation charge, within a free cancellation period, except third party reservations.
  • In case of mandatory evacuation, all reservations will automatically be canceled with a full refund. No other weather cancellations are permitted after the free cancellation period ends.
  • Refunds may take 5-7 business days to show up on your account. Guests should call their bank before calling the hotel front office in case of delays. The hotel cannot be held responsible for delays originating from your financial institution.
  • The hotel cannot cancel or modify any reservations made through any third-party booking agencies. Guests must contact the booking agent directly for changes, modifications, or cancellations.
  • The Credit Card / Debit card used to make a reservation cannot be changed once the free cancellation period ends.
  • Any changes to the reservation are subject to availability.
  • In the case of a No-Show there will be a No-Show fee equaling the full amount of the stay and no room guarantee after first night.
  • No refund will be processed for early check out.
